Adeola Adejobi launched the Avant-Garde Network in 2011 with the mission to promote diversity and inclusion through networking, recruiting, career development, training, panels, partnerships and events.

This past weekend I went to her Women of color and Capital Conference with one question in mind. What can we do to empower Caribbean communities both in the United States and abroad? Here is some feedback I received from attendees and speakers.
